Usage

Synopsis

johnson [options] polyhedron

Description

Make Johnson polyhedra in OFF format. These are convex polyhedra whose faces are regular (but excludes, Archimedeans, prisms and antiprisms.)

Options

polyhedron
polyhedron may be specified by its Johnson number, or the (start of the) name of the polyhedron.

-h
program help

-l
display the list of polyhedra

-o <file>
write output to file, if this option is not used the program writes to standard output

Examples

Check the list to see what is available
   unipoly -l
Make a triangular cupola, and view it
   johnson tri | antiview
Make an elongated square pyramid, and view it
   johnson 8 | antiview

Notes

The coordinates are calculated directly, except for J86-J90 whose coordinates have been precalculated to high precision (15 decimal places) by a custom spring modeller.
