Usage

Synopsis

johnson [options] polyhedron

Description

Make Johnson polyhedra in OFF format. These are convex polyhedra whose faces are regular (but excludes, Archimedeans, prisms and antiprisms.)

Options

polyhedron: polyhedron may be specified by its Johnson number, or the (start of the) name of the polyhedron.

-h: program help
-l: display the list of polyhedra
-o <file>: write output to file, if this option is not used the program writes to standard output

Examples

Check the list to see what is available

   unipoly -l

Make a triangular cupola, and view it

   johnson tri | antiview

Make an elongated square pyramid, and view it

   johnson 8 | antiview

Notes

The coordinates are calculated directly, except for J86-J90 whose coordinates have been precalculated to high precision (15 decimal places) by a custom spring modeller.
