Usage

Synopsis

unipoly [options] polyhedron

Description

Make uniform polyhedra in OFF format.

unipoly is based on Kaleido and includes software developed by Dr. Zvi Har'El - http://www.math.technion.ac.il/~rl/

Options

polyhedron
may be specified by a Wythoff symbol (3 fractions and a |), an index number in the polyhedron list (an integer in the range 1 to 75), or the (start of the) name of the polyhedron.

-h
program help

-l
display the list of polyhedra

-a
use alternative models of convex polyhedra with nicer coordinates

-o <file>
write output to file, if this option is not used the program writes to standard output

Examples

Check the list to see what is available
   unipoly -l
Make an icosahedron
   unipoly -o icosa.off icosahedron
Make a cube with unit coordinates
   unipoly -a cube.off cube
